Custom food tours & events with Stretchy Pants

Just finished a wonderful food tour with some ghostly lore and also a few SF "not so known" historical facts you don't read in the history books. The tour consisted primarily in North Beach and ended in Chinatown. Robert is an excellent food tour guide taking us to restaurants off the main drag. Although we all lived in the SF Bay Area and have visited North Beach a few times, he introduced us to places we didn't know existed and are very excited to go back and eat at these restaurants off the beaten path. We would totally take a tour with Robert again. And Kara, the owner, just as nice. We enjoyed it tremendously.

Best Food Tour in the Bay Area! I had the greatest time in Mission with my family on this tour! I ate the most delicious tacos I have ever eaten! I had authentic pupusas! I had the best time trying chocolate! The murals that we saw on our art walk were beautiful and very inspiring! My family and I are not SF savvy but now we feel like we know our way around! We were very safe and comfortable on this trip with Robert, the nicest tour guide ever! So grateful I found this company and it is my goal this summer to do all the SF food tour options that they have available!

It was a wonderful experience! Robert was so informative, and we had a great time! The group was great, the food was very good, and we learned a lot!
Attended the SF Tea and Dim food tour. It was delightfully delicious. Robin, our guide, was very friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!

Great balance of history and food We're SF locals, but we joined this tour with some friends who were visiting from out of town. It was such a great way to learn about some of the hidden gems of Chinatown and to reacquaint ourselves with this fantastic part of our city. Robert did an excellent job of balancing the history with the food experiences and he was always up for answering our questions. We enjoyed every one of the food and beverage stops on this tour from the dim sum and peking duck to boba tea and especially the tea tasting. Robert even gave us some tips for where to purchase some of our favorite Chinese baked goods after the tour. Another highlight was visiting the temple and hearing about its history from the charming woman who is its caretaker. We plan to recommend this tour to any of our friends or family members who come to visit San Francisco!
This was a wonderful tour! Our guide was Robert, and he was extremely knowledgeable about Chinatown's history, how it fit into the context of San Francisco's larger story, and how all of that plays out into everyday life of Chinatown residents today. The food was delicious and well spaced-out -- especially love that we ended with a delightful special sweet treat! Highlights of this tour that made it feel special for us were a visit to Chinatown's oldest temple that was participatory and felt sacred even as non-believers, and a tea tasting near the end of the tour that was surprisingly super educational. Highly recommend this tour for a true insider look into a part of San Francisco that definitely deserves its flowers.

Fabulous tour What a fun evening! We were celebrating a friend’s birthday and since she loves ghost tours and Italian food, this was a perfect fit. The stops were a great mix of entertaining storytelling and yummy food. Robert is a phenomenal guide who was so thoughtful and knowledgeable. We even enjoyed a special birthday treat for my friend and another guest—complete with candles! Really couldn’t ask for more.
